Tis The Season To Be Jolly!
The Littlewood Players Christmas Charity Performance 2009
Christmas - the season of love, good joy and cheer! But not everyone celebrates Christmas...
Instead of their usual annual year-end concert, the Littlewood Players performed Christmas carols for the patients at the Geyland SingHealth Eldercare Centre.
The beauty of music transcends time and age...

From eight to eighty-years-old, music is the common language that bridges the gap of time and age. The young musicians played a 30 minute repertoire for their senior audience and it was a truly heartwarming experience to see the latter clap along to the familiar tunes of "Jingle Bells" and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas".
The Spirit of Giving...
The presence of the little ones certainly brought cheer to what would have been a mundane Tuessday afternoon on 15 December at the Centre. The Centre provides rehabilitation, community aged care and post acute community care services needed by patients and elderly with complex and chronic health conditions.
After their performance, the players also presented the patients with cake and beverage as they mingled with their audience and it was an interesting experience for both patients and players.
The patients appreciated the kind gesture of the Littlewood Players who stayed on after their performance to accompany them.

On behalf of all at Tanglewood Music School, we wish you a Blessed Christmas!
