1780 Guadagnini to be played by Zhou Mi
The rare antique 1780 Giuseppe Guadagnini cello from GPA Holdings’ collection is on loan to Ms. Zhou Mi, a recent graduate of the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music. The loaned cello will be making its debut performance under the skillful hands of Ms. Zhou Mi in “Tales from the Arabian Nights”.

| The concert explores the realm of Romanticism with works by Wagner, Dvorak and Rimsky-Korsakov led by musical director, Mr. Chan Tze Law.
Miss Zhou Mi is a winner of the 2004 YST Concerto Competition, has since then been awarded a variety of international prizes. She is currently pursuing a Graduate Performance Diploma at the Conservatory under the guidance of Mr. Li-Wei Qin. The 1780 Giuseppe Guadagnini cello that Ms. Zhou Mi will be playing has been in collection for three generations before being acquired by GPA Holdings. GPA Holdings has over 30 rare antique string instruments, that under the management of Dr. Wilson Goh and Mrs. Karen Goh, loans out to young budding talented performers for performance and competitions.
