About Us

Established in January 2000 by Karen Yap, a cellist, the School was the 1st cello school in Singapore. In 2003, it expanded to include a Violin and Viola department. Since then, the school has also included Piano and Or.

The School’s unique teaching system – one-on-one lessons and group training lessons in practical, theory and aural skills which includes performing opportunities for its students; as well as the School’s belief in constant professional development of its teachers in the forms of performances, conferences and in-house workshops, are hallmarks of its success.

The school pride itself on achieving 100% passes in the Associated Board Royal School Music examination every year. In addition many high scorers have been produced over the recent years and the Most Impressive achievement with our youngest candidate on Cello Grade 5 examination at 6 years old.

Added to that, the School’s teachers are of high caliber, with professional teaching experience and credentials. Patient, dedicated and knowledgeable – essential qualities that the teachers possess.
